" Kenaz Kindred has been providing events, workshops, and gatherings for over nine years. Originally, the organization was developed as a general gathering place for those interested in learning Pagan beliefs and traditions. From our humble beginnings as a small eclectic group of people we have now spiraled into a thriving, and busy organization that strives to provide a central core of teaching, training and rituals all completely devoted to the Asatru faith. We keep ourselves open to new ideas by accepting anyone that is interested in learning, celebrating and joining with a group of serious minded Heathens. We are devoted to providing a positive learning enviroment, made up of sincere students, and dedicated teachers."
" We strive every day to do something spiritual, regardless of how small or big. Our priestess is also an author who recently published a book called, " Fulltrui : Patrons in Asatru, and is working on a second one entitled, " Living Our Faith ", the books are an expression of both devotion, and personal struggles within Heathenry. Although we are often sidetracked with projects, and our priestess is a full time stay at home mom, our goal is to promptly respond to requests and e - mails, and to encourage community discussions."
"We Are :
Devotional : We work closely with divinity through various aspects.
Spritual : Live a life for the Gods.
Progressive : We accept anyone who is called to Asatru regardless of their ancestry, sexuality, or affiliation with any other group.
Tolerant : Accepting of Loki and his ancesters, or relatives. ( Find out more about this aspect )
Modern : We combine UPG with historical practices to create a fusion of the past and present."
"We are shamans, rune casters, mediators, poets, song makers, drummers, and followers of Asatru. We are loyal to our Gods, and follow a tradition of honouring them in the best way possible. We accept the possibility of them existing as real and living beings that talk and act in this world, and through them gain understanding that helps us forge a close bond with them. "
"In 2011, we decided to move in a more spiritual direction, applying prayer, meditation, and more into our daily work. To find out more about us, we encourage people to come and visit our webpage at :" http://www.kenaz.ca
