I do raise my horn this day in honor of Ragnar Lodbrok and his Viking army, who on Easter Day, March 28th, 845 A.D., sailed up the Seine River and sacked Paris. This after defeating the divided army of the Christian King Charles the Bald. The cowardly King Charles, not only paid Ragnar's Vikings 7000 pounds of silver to leave in peace, but allowed them to keep everything that they had looted from the Parisians.
Other than honoring Ragnar and his men it is just another day to me. The only resurrection I want to see on this day, is the resurrection of our religion. Period !
P.S. I have a poem for Ragnar' s exploits that I will post on the 25th.
Go with Odin's wisdom, Freyja's love and Thor's protection !
