The Yule Gift

As the Winter Solstice approaches a family in crisis is suffering in deep despair. An injured little girl ( Hildi )and her distraught mother ( Katla ) fight every day for survival after the death of Katla's husband ( Leiknir ). The struggle is becoming too much..... and then a stranger appears from off in the distance. He tells them that his name is Gangleri, and he asks if they will offer and old man hospitality from the cold. Little do they suspect that there lives will never be the same again !
The ' Yule Gift ' is a departure from my usual stories of war, magic, and adventure.... but sometimes a tale of hope is the best story ever told !
