381. Geira's Tragedy
No longer would she be intimidated, bravely faced up to her fears,
Her maiden's heart, she forever more, would protect with a shield,
And defend herself with the sword, that she had learned to wield.
They brutally killed her husband, ripped from her their little boy,
Took from her the love of her life, and forever stole away her joy,
Made her extremely bitter, with nothing left but revenge to seek,
Never again would she be the house maiden, the wife, the weak !
One by one, Geira hunted them down, until only one remained,
With a shield badly battered, and hands forever bloodstained,
She tracked him through deep snows, down to the North Sea,
Caught him at the shore, ran him through before he could flee.
She avenged her husband and son, but it did not ease the pain,
Geira paid dearly with her soul, for her mind was no longer sane,
As the years passed, Geira could not deal with her internal discord,
Tormented by her demons, the troubled Geira fell upon her sword.
