298. Evil Brew
Dressed in clothes that are nothing more than rags,
The crones gather wood, need no match for the fire,
Magical flames dance from the logs as they conspire.
As they pour water into a cauldron the hags begin to rant,
And nothing but pure evil is contained in the witches' chant,
However, words alone do not make up their fiendish brew,
For they add ghoulish ingredients to make their evil stew.
They create a bubbling curse of steaming misfortune,
From which their horrible blasphemies are slowly spun,
Bad luck, anxiety, and the worst of every known disease,
Are what these witches concoct with the greatest of ease.
What evil and harm they will cause it is very hard to tell,
When these witches are determined to formulate a spell,
Should you meet up with these witches, leave in great haste,
Or these evil old crones will give you their curses to taste.
