276. Mani' s Guiding Light
The forest was thick, the night made everything seem unclear.
In the distance a danger unseen, I could sense was drawing near,
Darkness completely filled my eyes, I did not like what I could hear.
Then the clouds thinned, they began to separate and divide,
And the fear I felt deep inside of me slowly started to subside.
Looking down from the heavens, the one who commands the tide,
Mani, that great glowing beacon, became my protector and guide.
His wonderful shining face, with its pocked complexion of light gray,
Quickly chased, that which could not be seen in the shadows away.
Mani did not abandon me, throughout the entire night did he stay,
He only said goodbye when the darkness was replaced by the day.
