In a land covered by thick ice and drifting deep snow,
Where the cold winds of the North continuously blow,
Live Ogres known as Frost Giants, the enemies of Thor,
These Jotuns fight many battles, they live for the war !
The Frost Giants know when the great Thunderer is near,
They feel the heat of the lightning, which increases their fear,
In war after war, battle after battle, in fight after fight,
Thor and his mighty hammer have become a terrible sight.
When the Frost Ogres invaded Midgard the fierce wars began,
This was the kind of aggression Thor would never let stand,
In these great wars that have lasted many thousands of years,
The Frost Giants were beaten back, they shed many tears.
Even now as the Giant Frostmir stood on the edge of the field,
And saw Thor angrily coming at him, he still could not yield,
For the hatred and bitterness had gone on for far too long,
It was now deeply etched upon his soul, to be sung like a song.
Frostmir lifted his long ice spear, and just as he threw,
Thor let go of his hammer, to pay the Frost Giant his due,
The last noise Frostmir heard was muted and dull,
As Thor's hammer hit home and splintered his skull !
