Two main threads run through this short story. One is the love between the Christian Reverend Caroline Decker and the Godi Peter Hansen, which in my eyes shows that love is stronger than religion, or for that matter most anything in the nine worlds. A valuable lesson taught to me by Freyja a long time ago. Like most things in real life they meet many obstacles along the way, and have to deal with them one by one, with a little help from an old friend. The second thread that runs through the story is the anger and division of the temple members over three new members who want to honor Loki and the Jotuns. This leads to the members splitting into factions, and threatens to tear apart the temple. This is a topic that has been at the forefront in our religion for years, and is something that will have to be dealt with in the end for us to move on as one folk.
Will Godi Peter Hansen and Reverend Caroline Decker overcome their difficulties and get married ? Will the temple be torn apart by new members named Wolf, Dragon, and Serpent, over the issue of honoring Jotuns, Loki and his children ? Well I can't tell you that ! It will spoil the ending !
