I would like to say a few words about the Christian King Olaf II, better known as St. Olaf. He may be considered a saint to the Christians, but to us he is just another brutal sadistic tyrant. In Heimskringla it says that King Olaf Haraldson went feasting through the Uplands, a custom of the Kings every third winter. From Borg, in the Fael, he went to Vingulmark. He asked the lordships there if the people were upholding Christianity in those parts. When he heard of places where "improvements" were needed he taught them the right ways and penalized them heavily. He drove some away from the land, he maimed others in hand and foot. Some he plucked their eyes out or hanged or beheaded them. He let no one go unpunished who would not bow to the Christian God. I think that says it all !!!
Finally I would like to say how disappointed I am with the Christians of this era. Did they not learn anything from their own persecution at the hands of the Romans ? Well....Obviously they didn't ! The old saying is that if you do not learn from history you are destined to repeat it. They are a prime example of that !
I want to leave you with a question for you to contemplate. Please give yourself time to really think about this. If given the choice of conversion to Christianity, or torture and death, which would you choose ?
Go with Odin's wisdom, Freyja's love and Thor's protection !
