The scenes of Asgard, and Jotunheim are very, very nice. I loved the Frost Giants, (well at least the way they looked), and the action fight scenes are very intense, and in my opinion could not have been done ten years ago with as much realism. I was most impressed by the whole vision of Bifrost and how it worked. It was really quite well thought out, combining fantasy and science into a nice balance. I wish I could say more but I don't want to ruin it for anybody !
The two things that I was most impressed with however, were the morals of our religion that it portrayed so well ! First it clearly showed that Odin's wisdom comes at a price. It is not free to learn from our great teacher, you must give up something in return ! Also, I was greatly relieved that the honor in our religion was clearly shown to be the cornerstone with which we build our beliefs upon. This film, although inaccurately showing what is written in the Eddas, I believe has shed light to others about our Gods and Goddesses, and hopefully given them insight into our religion !
P.S. Stay till the end of the credits !!!
Go with Odin's wisdom, Freyja's love and Thor's protection !
